Background is simplistic and keeps the main focus on the character(s).

Background is much more detailed, specific landscapes/ scenes/ settings can be painted.
ADDITIONS
Additional characters will add €50,- per character to the commission.
Adding animals, beasts or any fantasy creatures will add to the overall price but depending on the size and complexity of the animal, the price might vary. Contact me to specify the costs for any creature you’d like to add!
COMMERCIAL LICENSE
If you’d like to buy the exclusive commercial license of your commission, up to 100% of the total price will be added on top of the original price. This exclusive license ensures you are the only one able to to use the design for commercial purposes. Contact me for the prices of non-exclusive licences.
BOOK COVERS & DUST JACKETS
ONLY COMMERCIAL
Dust jackets and book covers start at €500 a piece.
The commercial license is always included for book covers and dust jackets!

TERMS & CONDITIONS

I, as the artist, retain the right to share and showcase the drawing on my social media and/or portfolio as my reference work.

I retain the right to cancel any existing bookings, with a 100% refund.

Payment is always through Paypal!

Before you’ve approved the sketch, you can cancel the commission and get a (partial) refund depending on the amount of work I’ve already invested into it.

After the sketch is approved and the painting process has started, I will not accept cancelations nor give a refund!

The artwork will have my signature on it. You are not allowed to remove or edit my signature in any way.

A personal commission means I own the rights to the artwork. You are not allowed to use, resell or reproduce the artwork commercially.

Personal commissions are not allowed to be cropped, edited or altered in any way. They are allowed to be posted on any social media, used as profile picture or printed out for personal use only! If shared on social media, proper art credits to me, the artist, would be greatly appreciated.

Commercial commissions may be used as you wish.

I can get SJM art officially licensed, free of charge!

I will draw original characters if you can provide a detailed description of their looks/ background/interests etc.

I’m completely okay with drawing spicy NSFW art, so don’t shy away from asking about it!

You can always ask me for W.i.P’s during the commission process. I’ll gladly send them!

If for whatever reason I am not able or willing to finish a commission, I will always issue a full refund!

I will not draw any “real” people nor will I draw “real” actors as characters!

I will not draw extreme gore, racist images or depict children in sexual contexts.

I will not draw in any other style than my own!

I will not remove my signature nor are you allowed to do so!

If you send an email please include a detailed description of your request (and possibly reference pictures, moodboards, colourschemes etc.) And don't forget to let me know if you’d like a commercial commission or a personal commission! Thank you for your interest in my art!
